The official WooCommerce Subscriptions extension is mandatory. Renewal Scheduler adds calendar scheduling and operational controls on top of it; WooCommerce Subscriptions continues to create and manage subscriptions, renewal orders, payment methods, automatic recurring payments, and subscription statuses.
The use case
Renew on dates you choose, not only on signup anniversaries.
Useful when the service, shipment, membership, programme, or operational cycle follows fixed dates shared by many customers.
Choose signup billing
Charge the recurring amount immediately, or defer it until the next calendar occurrence. The schedule makes the next renewal predictable before launch.
Keep renewals aligned
Assign subscription products and variations to the schedule, then propagate calendar changes to eligible active subscriptions in controlled batches.
Example
June 30 signup. July 1 renewal. Intentionally.
With immediate billing, a customer joining on June 30 pays on June 30 and renews on July 1. A customer joining on July 5 pays on July 5 and renews on September 1.
If you do not want an immediate recurring charge, choose the deferred mode and the first recurring amount waits until the next configured calendar date.

Renewal Scheduler changes how eligible subscription dates are calculated and maintained. The official WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin remains mandatory and remains responsible for subscription records, payment methods, renewal orders, recurring payments, and status handling.
Reusable annual schedules
Create a calendar once and assign it to multiple simple subscription products or individual variations.
Store-local timing
Choose the renewal hour and minute in the store timezone. Actual processing can occur later depending on Action Scheduler, cron, gateway response time, and store load.
Individual timing overrides
Move a specific active subscription up to 30 local calendar days earlier without changing the underlying shared calendar.
Interactive simulator
Preview signup scenarios, same-day cutoffs, upcoming renewal occurrences, and processing-window behaviour before saving a schedule.
Controlled propagation
Existing subscription changes run in cursor-based batches with shared locking so concurrent browser and background workers do not process the same batch twice.
Mixed-cart schedule grouping
Recurring carts resolve their schedule from assigned products and reject conflicting calendar assignments instead of silently producing ambiguous renewal dates.

Migration support is intentionally focused on subscriptions already managed by the official WooCommerce Subscriptions extension. Importing or converting configuration and aligning live subscription dates remain separate operations.
Shop Plugins migration
Migrate from WooCommerce Subscriptions Schedule by Shop Plugins, importing supported schedules, product assignments, and subscription assignments while preserving existing next-payment dates during the import step.
WooCommerce Billing Date Alignment
Transform compatible schedules created with the official WooCommerce Subscriptions Billing Date Alignment feature into QuixWP calendar schedules, then explicitly choose how existing active subscriptions should be aligned.
Existing subscription adoption
Find active WooCommerce Subscriptions containing products or variations assigned to a QuixWP schedule, including valid candidates without legacy scheduler metadata.

What problem does Renewal Scheduler solve?+
WooCommerce Subscriptions normally calculates renewals from each customer's signup date. Renewal Scheduler lets selected subscription products follow reusable calendar dates instead, such as July 1 and September 1.
Can a customer be charged at signup and again on the next calendar date?+
Yes. In immediate billing mode, the signup charge is collected immediately and the next recurring payment is scheduled for the next configured calendar occurrence, even when that date is the next day.
Can I move existing subscriptions onto a schedule?+
Yes. Product-based adoption can identify active subscriptions containing products assigned to the schedule. You can preserve current next-payment dates first or realign eligible subscriptions to the calendar.
