ERP: Supported SAP Business One environment with Service Layer access
Architecture: Direct WordPress-to-SAP Service Layer API connection
Implementation: Professional QuixWP onboarding

Overview

QuixWP SAP Business One Connector is a managed WooCommerce integration for businesses that want SAP Business One to remain the operational source for item availability, standard pricing, customer and sales-order workflows.

The connector runs inside WordPress and communicates directly with the SAP Business One Service Layer. Business data is not routed through a QuixWP-hosted middleware platform.

  • Existing WooCommerce product and variation matching by SKU to SAP ItemCode.
  • Stock synchronization using the agreed warehouse rule.
  • Price synchronization from the agreed SAP price list.
  • WooCommerce order export to SAP Business One sales orders.
  • Manual and scheduled operations, retries, redacted logs, and visible status.
  • HPOS-compatible WooCommerce order handling.

The SAP integration user should have only the permissions required for the agreed item, warehouse, price-list, business-partner, and sales-document operations.

Standard implementation scope

  • One WooCommerce production website.
  • One SAP Business One company database.
  • Existing WooCommerce products and variations with matching SKUs.
  • One agreed warehouse or stock-availability rule.
  • One standard SAP price list.
  • WooCommerce order export to SAP sales orders.
  • Connection, catalogue, price, and order testing.
  • Production sign-off and one year of updates and support.

Multiple warehouses, multiple price lists, customer-specific pricing, product creation, batch or serial items, advanced units of measure, delivery or invoice return synchronization, multiple company databases, and user-defined fields commonly require custom scope.

Purchasing and invoicing

The connector is sold as a managed implementation rather than an instant-download checkout.

  1. Submit the compatibility form.
  2. QuixWP reviews the SAP version, Service Layer access, catalogue, warehouse, price-list, and order workflow.
  3. We confirm whether the project fits the standard $2,499 package or needs custom scope.
  4. QuixWP sends an invoice describing the confirmed implementation.
  5. Onboarding is scheduled after payment.

No SAP passwords or API credentials should be submitted through the website form. Secure access is arranged separately after the project begins.

Onboarding workflow

  1. Compatibility review: confirm SAP version, Service Layer, company database, ItemCodes, warehouses, price lists, and sales-order requirements.
  2. Installation and connection: install the connector, configure the dedicated SAP user, and validate the Service Layer endpoint.
  3. Catalogue test: test SKU matching, stock behavior, and price-list imports.
  4. Order test: export a test WooCommerce order and review the resulting SAP sales document.
  5. Production sign-off: enable schedules and automatic order export after approval.

SAP Service Layer connection

The connection screen stores the SAP Business One base URL, company database, username, password, and optional branch or defaults required by the agreed workflow. Credentials are encrypted at rest using the capabilities available on the WordPress server.

A successful connection test confirms authentication and access to the required Service Layer endpoints. It does not enable production synchronization or order export automatically.

Catalogue and stock synchronization

WooCommerce product or variation SKU = SAP Business One ItemCode

Products without an exact match remain unchanged and are included in the synchronization result. The standard implementation imports stock using one agreed warehouse or calculated availability rule.

Manual runs are available for testing and support. Scheduled runs use Action Scheduler where available, with WP-Cron as a fallback.

Price-list synchronization

The standard package imports one agreed SAP Business One price list. Imported prices are stored locally in WooCommerce so normal storefront requests do not depend on a live SAP request.

Multiple price lists, business-partner-specific prices, special prices, quantity breaks, discount groups, and complex currency rules require review and may be quoted separately.

WooCommerce order export

  1. A WooCommerce order reaches the configured export status.
  2. The connector resolves or maps the SAP business partner using the agreed rule.
  3. Line items are mapped by WooCommerce SKU to SAP ItemCode.
  4. Warehouse, tax, freight, currency, and document defaults are applied.
  5. The SAP sales order is created and its reference is stored on the WooCommerce order.

Failed exports remain visible with a redacted error. Temporary failures can retry automatically, and administrators can retry manually after the underlying issue is corrected.

Licence and maintenance

The first-year price is $2,499. Standard maintenance renews at $999/year and includes updates, supported-platform compatibility maintenance, connector support, and access to new standard functionality released during the maintenance period.

When the licence expires, the installed connector continues to run. Licence expiration stops access to updates, compatibility maintenance, and support until renewal.

Troubleshooting

Connection test fails

  • Confirm the Service Layer URL and HTTPS access.
  • Confirm the company database and dedicated user credentials.
  • Check firewall, VPN, certificate, and allowlist requirements.
  • Confirm the user can access the required Service Layer resources.

Products do not match

  • Confirm the WooCommerce SKU exactly matches the SAP ItemCode.
  • Review variation SKUs separately from parent-product SKUs.
  • Review the latest synchronization result and redacted log.

An order failed to export

  • Confirm all line items have matching ItemCodes.
  • Confirm business-partner, warehouse, tax, freight, currency, and document defaults.
  • Correct the issue and use the manual retry action.

Support

Use the SAP Business One Connector support form for compatibility review, onboarding, or technical support. Do not send SAP passwords or private API credentials through the form.
